Keep up the good work man. I like the approach that you're taking to seal it off. Just make sure you do get it completely sealed off though. Also go with those SA12's man. They should easily walk on the DC Level 2's and the nice thing is that if you upgrade the SA's to another Sundown woofer you can use the same box size where as the DC Level 2's require a 1.25 cube per sub enclosure and the rest of the DC woofers say at least 1.5 cubes per sub.

Appreciate the feed back...I am getting more happy with the build. Its came along way. But on another note I painted the dash pods today. Just sanded a lil and went straight to primer and satin black as in the future I will be putting vinyl on them any way. The speakers for the pods are on their way from sonic electronix and I cant wait til they touch down.

BTW PHOTOBUCKET HAS BEEN GOING SUPER SLOW andbody else have this problem?

Photo bucket going fine for me. Nice progress, like the blue. You got speakers in the front AND rear doors and now on the dash, bet it will sound nice.

edit: I meant that in a good way, that's lots of speakers in lots of areas, that's what I like, lol

Did a little more painting...im really liking the blue. Also I did forget to mention that iv'e already picked up 2 of the American Bass sealed backs. They play very very loud.

The sensitivity on these are 103.5 DB!! I will be playing them most likely between 400-5or6KHZ with 18 db roll offs on both ends. I would recommend them to people who only are using a 4WAY application. Due to the fact that you do not want these playing mid bass of course.

Iv'e been doing some research on cheap Mid bass drivers from Parts Express And the two that caught my eyes where the following

(-DAYTON AUDIO SD215A-88 8" SUB (29$)

(-GRS 8SW-4 8" SUB (15$)

I then used winisd (I KNOW I KNOW NOT THAT ACCURATE JUST WANTED AN IDEA) to plug in the parameters of the subs to see which would preform better in a sealed.5 ft3

enclosure.

To my surprise the GRS had and excellent mid bass response that Iv'e been looking for. 63-400Hz.Take a look
