The only thing that would sway me from the se if you are going to do long distance is the lack of gears.

I've always preferred single gear. I don't ride 30 miles at a time but a nice 5-10 is easy

hah! thought I was the only crazy one. My trek is a front suspension 29er. But the only bike I really ride now is my Bianchi fixed gear its a standard 26in wheel though. I ended up switching the rear hub so I could coast, riding hilly terrain on a fixed is a PITA. (but I will ride fixed gear most of the time)

I was surprised at the amount of extra effort the 29er takes though. Maybe I'm just fat :)

An actual fixed gear or just a single speed bike?

That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.

actual fixed. I have a single speed on the other side so all I do is flip the wheel and I can changed back and forth.

Its a bianchi pista.

That's why it seems easier to ride to you then.

The bike is doing some of the peddling for you.

I think I finally found the bike I want,

working on saving up the cash for it right now.

just found out some guy at work is hardcore into cycling.. fucker paid $250 to computer tune the bike to his body.. when i was being told it made it sound like it was a dyno tune lol

they use sensors and computer then have him get on the bike and the sensors tells them how much to move the seat pedals and steering
