My little X99 build

How the hell do your gpus run so low. I got 70 full load at 1080p then throw it in 4k and I'm in the mid 80's

fuck the plating. look at what the main metal used is. you could buy unicorn blood plated terminals but if its just covering up dog shit, whats the point

I'll admit, half way through sanding that fiberglass in the rain and cold while I was all itchy I was definitely starting to question why i was doing this haha

minor update coming. i only have 1 day a week to mess with this PC, so ive spent most of the time so far modd'ing this older case to have better airflow. I installed a 3x120mm "Rad-Grill" on the roof of case to mount 2 120mm fans for better cooling. Cutting this very thin aluminum gets a little scary but my air scissors and grinder work very well. Pics might not make it look like it does in person, but so far im glad i chose to re-use this older case. I couldnt see the reason to spend 200$ for another case. I bought this case back in 2006-2007 and its quality is amazing.

Anyhow, here are some VERY ROUGH "in the process" pics i just took.

Radiator is the EK WB XTC 3 x 140mm rad, its fairly large. I know most will not agree with me, but ive always liked the look of roof top mounted rads. I dont like rads inside the case with the warmer air. Water Block is a EKWB Supremacy EVO with mod'd skt 2011-V3 I2 (insert) and Plate L3 installed. Pump choice is OF COURSE the D5 (will never use anything other then D5's ;) ) and all sorts of other goodies behind the scenes. Ill post more pics in the upcoming days when time allows. thanks!

You have that giant case and you still mounted the rad 6" above on stilts? Damn, I KNOW you're not lying when you say you don't like internal rads. That whole thing must be at least 30" tall. Need to use those Super Mod rights and change the title of the thread to "My skyscraper X99 build".

Love the motherboard. Are you planning on colored tubing or liquid?

wtf is lolcats?

I'd def get a fat hooker if i had to resort to that kinda thing. I feel like they'd be grateful and work harder. Also its more bang for my buck, more real estate for my dollar if you catch my drift. its like the Costco of streetwalkers.

I was hoping for 150 :(.

I was hoping she would let me put it in her butt
