BigMike916 Posted February 7, 2015 Report Posted February 7, 2015 I recently bought some Hybrid Audio Technologies speakers from a guy that I found on E Bay. I got A really good deal on brand new in the box speakers that were delivered today. I had never thought about these being counterfeit until one 8" out of 8 separate speakers that I had purchased was 90 degrees off. What I mean by that is that the speaker terminals were 90 degrees off from the writing on the neo magnet copper cover, where as all the writing on the other 7 were in line with the terminals. My question was if there was anyone out there that had ever heard of there being fake Legatia SE's out there. I know some companies like Focal and Dynaudio are known to be reproduced. I did a little bit of research and did not find anything on the topic of "counterfeit Hybrid Audio Technologies Legatia SE" and turned up nothing. I am a little bit concerned that such a high end company, would install a cover onto their magnet, crooked.I got a deal on these speakers, but not a steal. I still paid a shit ton for these but not as much as they cost to get from a dealer. Has anyone ever heard of there being "FAKE" Hybrid Audio speakers in circulation?
