Broke_Audio_Addict Posted February 20, 2015 Report Share Posted February 20, 2015 Something that's fire retardant may not work so well for a lipo fire seeing as how they burn extremely hot(like 1300°c hot) and take off with a violent reaction. They do make special bags for charging rc car lipo Batts so maybe you could wrap one around each cell somehow. All that being said I've been using lipo rc Batts for years and have never had a single thing go wrong, it's all in how you treat it and it seems like you are educated on the things you can and cannot do so I wouldn't worry about fire too much. Also I found this cool little DC-DC buck controller. http://www.mini-box.com/DCDC-USB-200 May be nice so you could use it as a switch almost.
