Gmansontos Posted March 8, 2015 Report Posted March 8, 2015 Not asking where to set my gain or bass boost. I want to know what the phase is for and where to set it and my box is tuned to 32 hz with 2 sundown X 15's so where do I set low pass and subsonic. Also where do I set the low pass on my radio. Gmansontos Posted March 8, 2015 Author Report Posted March 8, 2015 Thanks got it, now how do I handle the low pass filters on my head unit and amp Quote
MrSkippyJ Posted March 9, 2015 Report Posted March 9, 2015 you only need to use one of the low pass filters, not both. Quote F150: Stock 2019 Harley Road Glide: Amp: TM400Xad - 4 channel 400 watt Processor: DSR1 Fairing (Front) 6.5s -MMats PA601cx Lid (Rear) 6x9s - TMS69
Gmansontos Posted March 10, 2015 Author Report Posted March 10, 2015 Ok so turn off low pass on head unit, check but set low pass on amp to where? Starts at 35 Quote
reedal Posted March 10, 2015 Report Posted March 10, 2015 You're better off using your head units low pass filter unless you have a CC-1 to find the frequency you're looking for. Start at 125 and work your way down to find what frequency you want your subs to play.
