the guy who is buying my house has a drag bike, like dirt drag. I got a video of him motoring around my(his) yard today. I'll link it once its done uploading.

I'm digging to see that!

My dad bought himself a bike today.

I'll admit, half way through sanding that fiberglass in the rain and cold while I was all itchy I was definitely starting to question why i was doing this haha

the best part is he doesn't have his license yet, so I got to drive it home.

its a 900 compared to my 650 and you can really tell the difference. I like mine more though!

really? how old is that sportster?

Sportsters are usually either 883 or 1200 unless you're talking like AMF 70s stuff and the lowest those went to is like 750 or 900.

I rode dirtbikes in my teens, had a KX125 bored out a little. Thing sat super high, as high as 450's, and would keep up with them for the most part too. Nothing like two stroke man, miss that shit for sure.

Now I have a 2014 HD Road King. About 6700 miles on it, love the thing. Wouldn't trade it for anything. Sport bikes are fun as hell, don't get me wrong, but I like to be able to ride longer than an hour on normal roads without my body going numb. There are definitely times where I wish I had a sport bike though, for sure.

"Clipping" is the biggest forum boner now. It's like witchcraft... it automatically explains just about everything people don't understand.

It has screaming eagle something or another on it. I think he will likely keep it mostly how it is.

yea I saw the air cleaner. May even had the screamin eagle heads or cams. Doubt it though.

I love the sporties but I do think the 883-1200 change it makes it a totally different bike. COMPLETELY worth it.
