bassinyerface
Thinking of new 6.5in speakers for my truck. Wanna get nvx vsp components but not sure. Only wanna spend about 100$. Anyone have any experience with the vsp's? Or any ideas of good sounding speakers for the price? Currently running pionner ts-a 5-1/4 components. 2003 f150, 2 ab hd 15 on brutus 2400.1, kinetik batt, big 3, knu wire, image dynamics cxs 6.5 with ppi tweets, pioneer 1din and clarion eq. aculous
$100 is hard. I would up it to like $250 and then you could get something decent. IMHO. http://www.woofersetc.com/c-172-speakers/c-10-compon-speakers/c-40-65/p-11803-dsk-1653-hertz-65-2-way-80w-rms-dieci-series-component-speakers-system.html Hertz DSK. http://www.woofersetc.com/c-172-speakers/c-10-compon-speakers/c-40-65/p-10022-maximo-6-morel-65-2-way-component-speaker-system.html Morel I like the Zapco component sets as well. And for the price now since they discontinued you can probably get them for a really good price. But ultimately no one is going to be able to decide for you. Look around and see what meets your listening habits. If you are into Rap/Hip-hop/Dubstep/EDM you are probably going to want to look for high power handling a driver setup that is more geared to that sort of music. If you listen to french elevator music or SQ...its probably going to be a different selection.

mbdblue
For 100 bucks, I was happy with Memphis PRs. Also had massive audio but they were mediocre. I'd expect the same from nvx AA-Atomic-Clif Designs-DC-Diamond-Digital Designs-Directed-Eclipse-Fi-Hertz-Hifonics-Kenwood-Memphis-Phoenix Gold-Pioneer-PPI-PSi-Stinger-Sundown-TC Sounds-Viper-Zapco

sebringR/T
The Crescendo CZ components are very nice too. Think they run $120 a set. I agree with Miguel too. I've never had any issues with my Crescendo stuff.
