magillaru
It sounds like the back plate of my amp is rattling a little (when playing obviously).....the amp is screwed into wood with rubber spacers. There's a decent amount of space behind the amp to allow for air flow. Any ideas on how to stop this other than moving the amp? Here's the setup (before mounted): Mounted with rubber spacers: Singer Alternators Team Asshole #anothershittysingerbuild

magillaru
Did you sell it because of that or just a coincidence? Or is it just because the damn plate is so long..... It's annoying as shit and it makes me nervous.... Singer Alternators Team Asshole #anothershittysingerbuild

I fucked up selling that thing. I loved it. anyway.. I think the "length" of the plate has something to do with it a bit..... I may pull the metal rear plate, and make a lexan one.... possibly.... I had some "ideas" that never came to ...... SMD SUPER SELLER The Burban Build Blazer Build sold Acura trunk build sold

magillaru
Hell yeah....I'd love to pull the plate and throw on a clear piece to show off those guts! I'm gonna try the foam.....I saw on another thread someone used deadener but I don't want that shit all over my amp. magillaru
Remove amp remove cover add thin foam tape where cover sits..I would atleast Yeahhhh, that amp isn't coming out unless I remove the subs.....it's a tight fit......sub surrounding would be f#%ked if I tried taking it out and putting it back in. I can take the screws out and get a little wiggle room to try a couple different things but it's definitely not coming out. magillaru
My main concern though, is that I'm going to damage the amp if I continue to let it rattle...... Singer Alternators Team Asshole #anothershittysingerbuild
