I've been out of teh car audio world for a few years and I've been trying to catch up. Honestly it seems like theres always the new latest and gratest same old thing. At the end of the day, What is the real differance between subs in the $700 range and subs in the $70 range? Besides the expected build quality, what are you really getting? I have no doubt that one is a better product but really how much better? Bells wistles and bragging rights... and what else? I am not new to car audio. I have worked as an installer for years and have worked on civics to ferraris, dual to focal. I know the difference between a crap brand and a high quality brand.
