First off my bottom bitch second the equipment. these speakers an amp are temp. Had them from last vehicle. Pyle's I know shit but I was broke.PAC adapter since I'm keep in factory nav head unit till I can sell it and get a nice one.all premmovin0% OFC. and all my distributors and fuses and connections are gold or silver for Max current, main corrosion. here's the install bay I'm doing rig watch right now . mud and rain and snow. crimp on the grand from battery to chassis. Looks shitty but I put 100 lbs pull on here. She ain't movingfirrmoved battery bracket so I could wedge ground in between brack and chassis for a solid ground. Filed both places where it touches. I have a 145 amp alternator. Battery volts constant between 13 and 15 all the time. I used 0 gauge ground and 0 gauge power. However I don't have money to do big 3 with 0 gauge. So all factory wiring is 4 gauge accept the pos to alt. Going to grab parts from town now to upgrade that. Best I can do till I can afford 0 gauge. Will have pictures of that in next day or two. I ran my power not through the boot but another big grommet. I made a loop hang down for any possible water runoff. Will silicone as well.above. View from engine compart. Below inside view from drivers side . comes out behind fuse box. I had to remove tgat as well. To get it in That's as far as I am now. Grabbin parts as we speak. Will have more pictures up soon. Any and all criticism is welcome. Remember I just learned how to install from this site 3 weeks ago so bvear with me. .

No matter tho after instal the pac adapter I realized how shitty it sounded. My Pyle didn't fit into the brackets. Turning the system on tho it worked and worked well for the most part. Nothings tuned yet. The sub fuck8ng pounds but my vehicles panels every rattle like crazy. So i paused. Tjought to myself u never go to a gunfight with a knife. So i did a bunch more research. And Since then I came into some money. And I've ordered to complete my system. -KENWOOD DNX572BH nav head unit (arrived not installed) For my midrange-high - 1x pair HERTZ MLK MILLE 165.3 Legend component set. (150 rms 300 peak, freq response 40hz-22,000 -1x pair MOREL VIRTUS 602 component set (140 rms 280 peak) freq resp. 55hz-22,000 hz (I will not run both sets of my mid- range speakers. I was thinking of mixing and matching and selling the other set. Their both brand new. was gonna keep mlk woofers. Mlk tweeters. And morel crossover. What do u guys think?, suggestions more than welcome. )Once I sell a set I will buy - HERTZ HDP 1000 WATT AMP channel (150 rms@4ohms x 4) For my midbass I've ordered -1x pair CDT EUROSPORT GOLD M6 6.5" MIDBASS WOOFERS (150RMS EACH @ 4 ohms. Freq resp. 10hz-4000hz) -I've as ordered SECOND SKIN DAMPLIFIER PRO. 35 square feet. (Hopefully can do all 4 doors fully and then some). -1 pair of those second skin pyramid speaker kickers -4 foam speaker baffles -4 speaker brackets ( fuckin bose glues their speakers to the brackets provided. The front speakers were 1.9 ohms the back speaker ere 3.6 ohm. !?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?! I cut out front boss speakers to out in my temp pioneers. But couldn't out the same size speaker in the rear doors a they were a smaller back. I HATE BOSE) Just waiting on most of that shit to arrive. Then will continue with install. Gonna run passive to start. Keep speakers in stock locations. Then move on from there once I feel I've masterdmy system and am ready for active. .

My only comment is when you sand a ground you want to be sure to remove all the paint and make the surface as smooth as possible. If you use a file or something that gouges then you're removing contact surface area since the lug will sit up at the highest points (leftover paint will be the highest point for example). Also make sure the panel you ground to is also well grounded. sometimes a panel has a low electrical conductivity for some reason, like being glued onto another panel instead of welded or it was painted before assembly. Nabors employed a lot of people down here... you might want to pick up a little wire wheel like this one, it'll help you out a ton with grounds. My thought process was keep ground short as possible. And if wedged between two panels ( and torqued the nut with at least 120bs, im not exactly small) Each panel would make up for conductivity. I will look for a new grounding spot. Gonna add another battery here soon as my bright dim when the subs hitt8ng. Was gonna go with a yellow top deep cell. I know how good they are. Does anyone have any suggestions on another battery that's better than a yellow top? -also would puting the damplifier on the doors inside and out be sufficient or are there other areas of the truck I should do as well. I know my dash rattles like a mother fucker s of now. And my door handles on the outside unless my windows are down. - and should I get a peice of mfd wood to seal off doors? Or just running sheets of damplifier inside the door panel and on the outside be good enough with the speaker baffles? .

My first thought was a cat scratch at the paint and not someone trying to get to bare metal for a ground. I tried to find a pic of what i like to do but couldn't. Usually i trace the lug with a sharpie marker where i plan to ground to and then take my dremel and remove paint up to marker line so its neat and clean looking.
