scooter99
Got some goodies from Santa Bailey this weekend! Thursday these came; 2 packs of 160mil Vibraflex 1 pack of 80mil Vibraflex for the doors I also got the shop drawn up, at it's current layout, on sketch-up. Then I made a stand for the compressor, and the cart for the band saw, drill press, scroll saw and grinder. I like the way it works out on sketch-up. It's a little tall at 37" but, I didn't want to go any smaller than 3" casters on it, so it'll have to work. I like the way it lays out and the idea of the quick disconnect as well. I'm going to post up another thread on this, so I don't muck up this thread. I'll do that tonight when I get home. Oh, while we took Christmas down this weekend, yes already we're camping next weekend so we didn't want to go more than that leaving it up, I took down my outside workbench that was all rotted and destroyed. Looks like a whole new area. Amazing! Ok that's all for now. Facebook Page: S99Creations 2006 F250 Lariat Build

scooter99
Ok so here's where I'm at. I have changed things a touch. Here's what's going on. I think first off, I'm biting the bullet and getting the AA JM-1 processor. I may or may not use it completely, but I think to get things off of the ground, I will use it. I still want to try and do things without a processor, but I've stalled out so much on the SDU, it's really putting a halt on everything. Kind of feel like I can't do anything until it's done anyway, so I can't install anything else until I get done with that. This will allow me to do some kind of installing and get this build off the ground. TO be clear, I am 100% still going to do my SDU. This will give me the ability to install everything, and then when the time comes, and I finish the SDU, I can remove the JM-1 and put in the SDU and see how much difference there really is between them in tuning from the amps and tuning from the JM-1. The tricky part will be, that I still won't have any volume ability since I don't want the remote for the JM-1. so I'll have to figure that out. I'm sure I can come up with something temporarily. Next change is this. I've decided I'm going to go with an in cabin sub stage instead of the blow through for now. I have one AA-3.0v2 and I'll get a second one to go with it. The plan is to see how they do off of one 3800.1 at .5 ohm load. My guess is that's a bit much for them, but we'll see. It'll be a center console ported enclosure with about 2.5 cubes net. I'm planning to do 1.25 cubes per sub. Recommended 1.0 - 1.5 so I figured 1.25 is right in the middle. so we'll see how it works out. I have two designs I want to try to see what's best. So here is the install list as of now: Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 source HDMI distribution amplifier Ampere Audio JM-1 processor Ampere Audio Dream Comps x 4 (1 set per door) Ampere Audio AA150.4 x 2 (mids and highs) Ampere Audio AA3.0v2 10 x 2 (center console enclosure) Ampere Audio AA3800.1 @ .5ohm Ampere Audio 160mil Vibraflex Ampere Audio 80mil Vibraflex XS Power D3100 x 2 XS Power D6500 x 2 XS Power XP950 x 2 Singer 380a Hairpin Alt Sky High Car Audio Cables Custom made RCA's For now I'm going to hold onto the 2 dc audio XL 15's, the second Ampere 3800.1, and the Ampere 2000.1. If the subs struggle on the 3800 @ .5, then I may add a second 2000.1 and go to a 1ohm load per sub. So that's where I'm at now. Now i just need some time, a clean shop, and for it to not rain. But again, we need the rain so it's hard to wish for none. That's all for now. Facebook Page: S99Creations 2006 F250 Lariat Build

scooter99
We all know that's bullshit. There's no comparing the amount of times anyone here changes their mind to the amount of changes you go through. LOL On another note, I did pick this up yesterday. Nice little piece of equipment here! Now, if I could source a Denon DCT-Z1 or a nice quality Black Denon Head unit without having to sell one of my children to get it, I may consider running a head unit inline with the tablet. But we'll see. Facebook Page: S99Creations 2006 F250 Lariat Build
