Bump4life
For sure daniel. Ive seen them play plenty of times in musical builds at low impedance, but i also feel like my ear is a little more discerning. I have full confidence that it will stay on with out protection, and i have full confidence that it will be perfectly fine... I'm just not sure if they rails can handle that much power and still maintain control over the cone on music. I know they will on burps easy. That is also why i said i may have a zero.7 at 1ohm after its all said and done. i do have a second zero1 in my house i could use for heatwave if need be, but I'm sure jack and jay will trade me for an upgrade. yea, for me, .25 was way too sloppy. i had a couple guys on the forum listen and we could all hear it. just missing the notes. it was loud until they cut off lol. Swordlordboy1234
Here are actual calculations on my current box. Disregard my signature. Thats what i was told it was... Here are the actual numbers. And i got a bug up my ass and decided to run some numbers and bring my idea on to paper. Im thinking common port common chamber to increase efficiency. bring my port area from 10in^2 to about 11.7in^2 (may increase to just above 12... still gotta play around) bring my cubic feet from 3.4 total to 4.3 total NET cubes. Should help.. my subs dont move at ALL even on 4k wired in the dirt on strong electrical. and bringing my tuning down from approx 34-35hz down to 31 or so... I want to play a little flatter, and with a little more authority below 28hz. Overall i think ill be louder, flatter, and have more bandwidth in both directions. We shall see. Hopefully i still peak in the 30's. I love peaking at 34. I just want a little more low end and a little more above 40hz. It drops off FAST in both directions. Ive done music testing, and I'm at 139's at 26hz. 146's at 33z, and 140's above 40hz. Its just way too peaky for my taste. Wicks
Love where you're going with this I'm very curious to try me out some B2. As for 0.25ohm, my DC5K was very finicky and loose. Protected a lot when playing music. My DC9K on the other hand.... Beast! Loves sitting at 0.25 and rarely if ever protects. My XL12's on the other hand, they don't like it so much Details on the DSP? Looks awesome. I have my eye out for a replacement on my 360.3. Does it do Bluetooth? Not necessary but is a nice option. More pics of the remote! That's the one feature I like on the 360, the remote fits perfect in my console. tboorn
thats definitey a big reason as to why you arent getting the movement you want from the subs on the power theyve got. more cone control from a small port for sure. Open that bitch up and those things will start flexing much more id be willing to bet. With the new b2 5k or a second zero1 if it doesn't work out. The DSP does have Bluetooth and it has some wicked pricing. Even as a moscioni dealer, this cost me way less then my COST on a 6to8. I'll post some pics of the remote and such soon. I just bought all my wire from my shop today so I officially have everything except another sheet of birch. The box will be started tomorrow, the tear down wil be started either tomorrow or next week. Keep tuned bro.
