If I ever go 4 way active then I'll mess with the pillars. Till then, I'll keep practicing on my doors. Or I'll wait till one of the other Tahoe guys on here decides he wants to part his out. all4spl Posted July 15, 2015 Author Report Share Posted July 15, 2015 Recones and new frames are on order with Sundown to take my ZV3 12s to 15s, just have to wait 6 weeks . But the plan for the time till then is to get the floor in the extra cab built, and probably toss the 12s in one of the old boxes back there for some temporary bass. all4spl Posted July 18, 2015 Author Report Share Posted July 18, 2015 So today I started the floor in the extra cab of the truck, its about 80% done, even was able to test fit the enclosure. This enclosure is OLD was built for a friend of mine back in 2005, so ignore the outside of it I will be sprucing it up a lot. Its super hot here in FL and humid as hell so I am taking a break if I do nothing more to it today I will do the outside covers tomorrow. The 12s which are waiting on recones to become 15s are in an old enclosure that has now been in 3 cars. Not the best but after not having bass for over a month I am enjoying it a lot. I was not going to bother with an alt at first but Excessive had a super price on this one so I picked it up. all4spl Posted July 23, 2015 Author Report Share Posted July 23, 2015 Nah if this deal hadn't come along I would be putting it off, I found the load limiter that allows the truck to regulate down into the 12s so I disconnected that and now its at 13.8 minimum at all times.
