meade916
today i heard my biological father died. I am more sad that i can't get myself to feel sad. I want to shed a tear but i just don't care. Never got a birthday or Christmas card, never got a phone call. Mom never got a penny from him. Even after forgiving him in my 30's (on the phone), i still never heard anything more from him...now in my 40's. The guy just didn't care. RIP whatever your name is. Thankful i was adopted at 1 by a REAL man. Does this make sense? i mean for a minute i was feeling pretty down in the dumps but ONLY because i am SUPPOSED to feel sorrow for him but i don't. And that bothers me the most. 4 Quote All SMD products + MORE available at my store here! https://wccaraudio.com/ Subscribe to My Youtube Channel! Over 1,000,000 subscribers strong! No cards no calls, never visited.Shoot me a text if you want to talk or rant or get anything off your chest Quote ~~~~~~~~SAY NO TO PHOTOBUCKET~~~~~~~~ Snow's DD-1 tracks here: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/167433-snows-dd-1-tracks/ My take on OFC vs CCA: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/110381-things-that-piss-you-off-in-the-car-audio-world/?do=findComment&comment=2461444

meade916
it sucks that he didn't care about me, his 3 grandchildren or his great grandchild. Well BIOLOGICALLY they are. At least my DAD is in their life. He lives in Florida and all my kids know who Grampa Duane is. So i didn't miss out. I had a great pops. But my BLOOD father dying and i am emotionless is troubling to me. 1 Quote All SMD products + MORE available at my store here! https://wccaraudio.com/ Subscribe to My Youtube Channel! MrSkippyJ
wouldn't let it trouble you too much. being blood doesn't mean anything really. if someone isn't in your life at all, what does it matter how they are related to you? 2 Quote F150: Stock 2019 Harley Road Glide: Amp: TM400Xad - 4 channel 400 watt Processor: DSR1 Fairing (Front) 6.5s -MMats PA601cx Lid (Rear) 6x9s - TMS69

Broke_Audio_Addict
You had no emotional attachment so yes it's perfectly normal not to care. Having a child does not make you a father. My girl has the same type of sperm donor you had, seen her once in her life no financial help whatsoever never a card or a phone call has never met our daughter(and never will even if he wanted too) She wouldn't give two fucks if someone blew his brains out in front of her face. You're normal man, love and compassion is conditional contrary to popular belief. 1 Quote That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals. _paralyzed_
There's no right or wrong way to feel. It's okay if you are not upset even though he was biologically related. It's okay if you do feel a loss even though he wasn't there for you. It's okay to feel both ways. It's shitty news when anyone passes.Hug those you love and bass on man. Peace.
moredbs
You have to love someone to care about them. Love is not free, it comes from time and experiences shared with them. The closer you are to someone, the more it hurts when they pass. I understand though on it being your biological dad, but the real father was the one that raised you,and taught you how to be a real man. I think he did a pretty good job from what i can see.
