box for 4 havoc 18s. need advice

99 Tahoe, box in the cargo area, I want to keep my back seats. 48w, 40d, 23h. do I really need to give them there recommended airspace for them to sound good? I don't see that happening with the dimensions I stated. two Q1-4500s on each pair at 1 ohm. I already built a box but its to big, I cant even see my subs. need help on a new box

ok how bout if I drop the back seats? im working with 60d, 48w, 23h. I don't want to wall because I wanna be able to remove the box when I need my back seats (if I go on a trip somewhere) but if if it all comes down to it im just gna throw these 4 18s in a b-pillar wall in my burbon. but I want 4 18s in my Tahoe, help is appreciated! joe x, u helped me on my last box for my 4 15s. shit came out nice! 146.3 with kicker cvr's lol

You are not going to ever remove a box that big. It's going to be far too heavy and too much effort. You're just going to say fuck it and leave it alone.

ill be able to remove it. I alone can put in and take out my current box, with all 4 18s in it. and its double layered all around. nothing is impossible. fuck I don't know, I might just throw 2 18s and give them their proper airspace, and still be able to keep my back seats. then ill wall it off later. flat wall 28cubes net @ 29hz

You can easily fit 4 - 15's in that air space, I fit 4 - 15's in less space (newer Tahoe's have less room). As far as removing the other box yourself........

if you went 48 wide, 40d, and like 27 high you might squeeze for 18's but you would have no room for batts., amps, etc.

gna wallet. b-pillar in my burbon. keeping current box in my Tahoe, I think im gna keep 4 15s in the hoe and do a wall in the burbon. havocs love a lot of airspace
