Miguels
you will need at least on bigger alternator or run a dual setup and 4 to 5 group 31 batteries Quote my logshttp://www.stevemead...-my-new-set-up/my blow through loghttp://www.stevemead...future-updates/ 96 ss http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/164094-96-impala-ss-build/
RooTxBeeR
Yeah I don't see how just adding 2-3 more batteries will make it more safe to run at .5. Which when your bass hits, the first thing to get pull on it is your alt. For the price of 2-3 G31's, you can get 1-2 bad ass alts that could power that ns-1 by themselves lol. Hellabent
Yea thanks for the input guyz. I got another 110 amp alternator. Would running it along side the 250 be a waste of time? In the mean time there is a local shop that has a good deal on those shuriken bats. I'll pick up a few.
MrSkippyJ
if it were me, i wouldn't be relying on battery power to run that at .5 ohm, i would put money into a couple of really high quality, high output at low rpm alts. mcj3000
Anyone actually wired to .5 ohm on the NS1v2 tell me what the current draw is? Trying to figure out what to fuse the amp to when wired at .5 ohm. I'm sure it's more that the recommended 650 amps @ 1 ohm.
