Jman9112 Posted September 14, 2015 Report Posted September 14, 2015 Hello there. I'm in the market for a good upgrade from my boss audio 15's. I've been looking at the $150-250 range for a single 15. Candidates are Nvx vcw, Alpine type r, and the massive audio hippo. Any thoughts on good woofers in this price range to run @1ohm on an alpine mrp100. (1000wrms) Ballin' on a budget.
Krimzon7 Posted September 14, 2015 Report Posted September 14, 2015 I've had a NVX VCW 12, and a VCW 10. I would recommend a VCW 15 if you've got the space and the power. Sometimes, you get the Bear. Sometimes, the Bear gets you.

And I can do anything up to 6ft^3. I was looking at the nvx the most. What's the quality of the stitching and such? Ballin' on a budget.

I will now be wiring to a 2 ohm load. Dual 4VC. But all these subs have that option. So that's nice. Another edit, it's a mrx m100. Ballin' on a budget.
