Webster25
Was the alternator converted to externally regulated ?no.. it must work with diodes [/quoteI have 3 of them in my 02 blazer and was told that I would have to convert it to externally regulated. Just curious what you think? Edited September 16, 2015 by Webster25

meade916
i seen you covered that at the end of the video..if you slow motion that video you will that it actually did 1309 watts when i stated "Average" i was just looking at the middle ground of where the numbers were going. The song has a dynamic bass line and i did that on purpose to show how much real power on a real speaker you could be actually pushing. But ya the numbers came down some (during the beat changes) and popped back up pretty high, i figured the middle ground was a good number to "claim" It isn't perfect it's just my take, from my own little experiments Quote All SMD products + MORE available at my store here! https://wccaraudio.com/ Subscribe to My Youtube Channel! MotorCityFats13
what is the myth... more voltage = more power... if the myth was confirmed then more power would not be more power.... so didn't you bust this myth... or was the myth same power from an amp even with more voltage... I would have said more voltage would almost always make more power since non-regulated PSU amps lose power under 14v and some amps are designed to operate on 14,16 or 18vdc. only a regulated PSU amp wouldn't gain since they pretty much regulate all power to a steady 12vdc... I either read this test wrong or it is worded goofy to stop adam and jaimey from contacting their lawyers... lol

Has nothing to do with having a 16v battery charging at 19v. I am talking 12v battery with a little extra voltage. so yes, you "read it wrong" lol Quote All SMD products + MORE available at my store here! https://wccaraudio.com/ Subscribe to My Youtube Channel! You could remove the battery, and still see the gain. Staying 15v plus when drawing 1300amp, well, i dont think a knob will do much. Im wondering if now, a billion members are thinking "hell, i dont need a alt, ill just dial up the amperage. That said, dialing it up a bit, in this situation, worked. Regardless, it shows you can get an increase if you stay in your play zone (while adding the extra voltage), which this system clearly still is. Don't worry, we will surpass the alternator supply soon with something it can't keep up with He already wants to go bigger. 2 Quote All SMD products + MORE available at my store here! https://wccaraudio.com/ Subscribe to My Youtube Channel!
