Mechman AVBM II install - More Volts = More Watts? Myth? Proof inside

Here is the scenerio...well more than a scenerio...it is just a little something for you to talk about while my video uploads. Antheny's Yukon (Father son install) has a Rockford Fosgate Punch 1000.1 on the lows, feeding 2 12's. We put a new 370a Mechman Elite Series alternator in and not only gained a few hundred watts, but it was a lot more stable. Next, it was time to put in the AVBM II Voltage Control Module. Even though XS Power and probably every other battery manufacturer in the world will tell you NOT to go above 15v, i have always ran mine over 15.3v with no problems. For Antheny, we decided on 15.3 for this test and he can back it off when not really needed. It's not a very large system, YET.

So here is the question. How many watts (from an average of a little over 1000) do you think he gained by cranking the voltage up just .6v ?

lets see some guesses while the video processes.

Remember this test is ON SPEAKERS which are under box rise conditions as well as impedance changes JUST from moving. So anything over 1000 on a real speaker is GREAT IMO.

i havent seen the results. but my guess is that having a beast alt helps too.. a AVBM on a 60a alternator wont do shit for any system

i stated in the video that you should have the amperage to back it up

but i am curious to see if a stock alt will actually gain as well. Maybe that will be a new video....but ummmm, i don't have a car with an avbm and a stock alt haha!
