99vic
my amp was cutting out so i decided to go through the wiring i noticed that the remote wire had a cut in it and was touching metal in my car so i replaced. i also added a 12volt fan to it. it and drove around for a while and it docent cut out. now my next question before i had my subs firing up and port back i got rid of most of the rattle with a cascade kit (dynamat) now with subs and port back it is making my back bumper rattle very bad. someone told me to pour resin in the bumper cover is that a good idea? or can i take it off and put dynamat in the bumper cover and stop it? here is a video http://s263.photobucket.com/albums/ii134/9...nt=MOV00397.flv Edited April 14, 2008 by 99vic Quote REST IN PARADISE BIG RICH (Sqmonte) never forgotten Why do you guys ALWAYS dispute on NUMBERS????? 99vic
all that vibrating sounds el-bad-oi think that the bumper isnt ur biggest problem, fix that one that we heard even before u were by the car the only thing rattling is the bumper cover well and the trunk lid but thats imposable to stop. i listened for hours trying to find it and then when i took it off the rattle was almost completely gone. when i put it back on it was back  Quote REST IN PARADISE BIG RICH (Sqmonte) never forgotten Why do you guys ALWAYS dispute on NUMBERS????? Torres
when you get to certain amounts of power...you can cut down on rattle...but not FULLY eliminate it. unless you drive an SPL car...which is another story. i dno about the resin thing...but if you get like...expanding foam or triple expanding foam you can spray it in places to help stop the rattling. like up in the bumper cover, or in the trunk lid itself. but being in a trunk...your lid will probably always rattle against the car itself. but maybe that will help
