andru Posted November 5, 2015 Report Share Posted November 5, 2015 you can play a 40hz test tone and adjust your gain by ear, the pitch of the bass will change and the woofer will move differently when the amp begins to clip, it isn't very accurate like a dd-1 or a scope but it's better than just guessing.
