sundownz Posted April 16, 2008 Report Share Posted April 16, 2008 The rating on these style fuses does allow them to handle over rated current for quite a while - enough extra that they get hot. Usually not quite enough current is drawn to blow the fuses before the heat melts the case (if it's a cheap fuse).
