Broke_Audio_Addict
Lots of good companies to go with for subs out there but you gotta do the first step and determine space first. Check out fi, sundown, DC, ampere, b2, ascendant audio, ssa, crossfire. That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals. Ahmed Johnson
I was so tempted to grab some Xfire's this year. The last few demo's I got of those were deadly.

JeepAndBassXJ
Had some custom built Ultra Audio 12's for Db Drag Finals, high fs, softer suspension, aluminum coil... all put into a little burp box on a DC 3.5k. Did 151.3db on 1978 watts @56hz. It was my first year of competition so I'm pretty happy with how far I have come. It's all about research, trial, time, knowing the right people, and getting out to comps to see how it works. audiofanaticz
Thats plenty of room for 2 of any 18s really. But just keep in mind your going to need room for batteries and amps as well!
King.Chus
alright thanks for the advice. Is there a good website recommended for getting box dimensions and port size and all that for the SMD 18?
ChevyBoy95
alright thanks for the advice. Is there a good website recommended for getting box dimensions and port size and all that for the SMD 18? In all honesty, here. No other website or forum has more people who have put about any woofer through their paces, and this is the home of the SMD woofer, so why would you look anywhere else?
