MotorCityFats13 Posted December 19, 2015 Report Share Posted December 19, 2015 lets elaborate.... if you have 1000 watts @ 2 ohm and you run a 1 ohm and a 4 ohm even though the final is 2 ohm the lower ohm sub will get a higher percent of the power leaving the higher ohm sub with less..... it all goes back to the path of least resistance so the split will be like 30/70 causing major power issues... so no dont do it.... parallel or series this problem still exists because its ohms law Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

There is NO way to EQUALLY divide the power between those three subs. No matter how you factor it you're going to have problems. Will it play? Yes. Will you cry when you blow something? If yes then don't do it. Throwing subs in your car isnt always going to make you louder and it's definitely not the most efficient way to get loud. There's boxes out there with a single 8 louder than the audio casserole you're trying to toss together. Just something to think about.
