KiKaZz74
Pretty sure the battery in my car has taken a shit. Not going into details since I'm short on time but I need help deciding which battery to get. Need it asap as it is going to be 0° or less this next week and I don't want to be stranded. 2009 Dodge Journey 3.5L v6 Group 86/75 Choices Farm and fleet gold $65 Farm and fleet platinum $95 Diehard gold $105 Duracell ultra $110-150 Farm and fleet is made by deka. Diehard by Johnson controls Duracell by east Penn. Which is gonna be the best battery over time and power. Will eventually have a system of 1500-2000w soon that will be supported by a single ultra caps bank. Thanks for the help guys. Need to get it today or tomorrow. Broke_Audio_Addict
Get the one with the most lead in it I.e. The heaviest one. That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals. KiKaZz74
I'll have to see if I can find weights on them. Not sure if any are virgin lead or not. Only reason I'm not getting a nicer one is they are not available locally. This is what I have to work with. Skullz
Deka is East Penn, so your getting about the same battery. Capacity is what you'll want to look at between all the ones your considering, and get the largest one you can fit into your application. 01 Ford focus ZX3 Pioneer AVH-X491BHS PPI PC 4800.2 Morel Maximo 6.5" x2
KiKaZz74
Well just found an option. Group 34/78 Opens up mostly any agm on the market. It's not much bigger but I really do want to do an agm. Not flooded. So what should I honestly look at? X2 power which is northstar at the local place. $250 Duracell ultra agm $185 same place Duration extreme agm from farm and fleet. $130 Optima yellow top from farm and fleet $220 Duralast platinum from autozone $175 I'm leaning towards one from farm and fleet since I have a credit card to pay on it instead of all at once but I'm just lost on what to do here. Damn thing is in the wheel well of my car so I'm having our mechanic do it and let him struggle with it. But honestly I need help quick on this. Which of those agm do you think would be best for the price? Either from farm and fleet? mcfalcon
I know quite a few ppl have used the duals platinum. The Northstar is probably at the top of the list but so is its price. Still learning but have started gathering.
Skullz
As long as it is not an optima battery, you'll be fine with which ever brand you choose. 01 Ford focus ZX3 Pioneer AVH-X491BHS PPI PC 4800.2 Morel Maximo 6.5" x2
