Mini amps(amplifiers)

I want to know from people who are using or have used them. Suppose I purchase one from a reputable company such as RF. Would the SQ be the same as some of the big footprint amplifiers they make? I'm assuming that advanced technology is the only difference.

Yo dog i heard you like boxes. so i put a box inside a box so you can bass while you FAIL

The only reason I would want a "smaller footprint" amplifier would be use of space.

Now as far as performance ... I look at the build performance, reliability, and placement within the board ...

Kenwood / HELIX / Linear Power (For The Love Of Music) / Brutal Sounds / OverKill Electric Co

Questions About Sound Quality ?? Try Here ... Sound Quality, What does it REALLY mean ??

Randal's 2007 Chevy Avalanche (we haven't named this one yet)

Not enough difference for you to notice.

Thinking is the root of all problems...

You ALWAYS get what you pay for.

Anything 4 channel. I want to take advantage of the small footprint for my highs. My explorer don't have a lot of hiding space.

I have a Taramps TS400x4 micro...and I love the little thing. Run it active with my Clarion CZ702. A DD c5d I had for a few weeks was significantly "warmer" I guess, but the little Taramps is a really nice little amp. No issues with overheating, it sits under my seat in a basically sealed box. Plays well on 12v battery power for extended periods of time.

about the size of a CD case, but like 2.5 inches high.
