Like the guys said above I'm a bit leery when a company sends you something rather than picking one at random off a shelf our out of an end user's car.

I agree it's a good looking amp though...and made good power. Just happens to have an unfortunate company name and logo.

Anyone know if the knob supplied with the CAB-1600.1 is a gain knob or a boost knob? Manual is seriously lacking some info.

For those following CAB we also sold the SA-Ultra design to them ; they'll be bringing it out this year in 12s with a few small tweaks (12-spoke frame and some small mods to the motor) & US assembly with US coils.

I'm seeing a lot of people diss this seemingly great budget amp because of it's internals. Anybody with more wisdom than I care to chime in on that matter? I mean, if it's putting out the power, what could be bad other than efficiency and lifespan?

i am finding out a LOT about how companies work from here!!. people sell designs to others ( same as car manufacturer do )and re badge it.. that was no big secret but still its very interesting to see and hear and watch how this process works . internal wise? yes its empty BUT its looks to be all smd ( surface mount design) so there is no real reason to have large components inside. for some reason it reminds me of an old amp i had that was called urban audio works. ..

if it does wt it does , let it be. but like someone said before.. what about durability. its an amp it converts this to that . it cant be that serious..

i just got me 2 of the CAB 1600.1 but cant seem to find specs for this amp. Im trying to find out what the rms and peak power this produces. And if thay can be straped. Can any one help me please
