Wehan
Anyone know what the filesystem limitations are on the Pioneer DEH-80PRS? I have a 64Gb usb drive with just under 6k songs on it but my current Sony tune tray HU won't recognize all of the songs/folders due to file system limitations. I don't want to upgrade just to have the same problem.

3vil
Does the 80prs recognize NTFS file systems, or is it FAT32 like most HU's on the market these days?
Wehan
From what I read in other parts of the manual it's fat32 only. I wish it would recognize NTFS or exfat because it's a PITA to format my 64b drive to fat32.
s5300
So wait, the 80PRS won't work with FLAC?
Wehan
So just to confirm, I got my 80prs the other day and plugged in my 64gb usb drive with all 5479 MP3's consisting of 574 albums (so a ton of sub folders) and everything was there, only took about a minute to read and build an index to. Was able to get a program called "SmartDisk FAT32 tool" to format my drive real quick and easy to.

Tarball
On my 80prs I plugged in my Fat32 formated USB that I had been using in another Pioneer deck and some hi level folders were not there. Also, after a few days, 2 folders that were there previously disappeared. I dont have anything more than 3 layers deep and the folders that are gone where only 1 layer deep. s5300
Is there anything newer that is similar/comparable to the 80PRS in the same price range that will work with FLAC? Also that works better with Android? Not trying to make a versus, just trying to know what's out there.
