Broke_Audio_Addict Posted March 19, 2016 Report Posted March 19, 2016 i can only do 147s at 20hz.. need to tear out that fail build! Playing whale calls again? That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.
audiofanaticz Posted March 19, 2016 Report Posted March 19, 2016 nah just bigpimpin music so close enough i guess
Broke_Audio_Addict Posted March 19, 2016 Report Posted March 19, 2016 I'm gonna get my factory kicker system metered for shits and giggles and see what this little 10" square thing is doing on the claimed 250 watts. That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.
audiofanaticz Posted March 19, 2016 Report Posted March 19, 2016 I know my stock caddy bose 12 in the rear deck can do a 125 or somewhere around there. It was enough to bassrace the 119.9db bassrace class, but then they removed that class
Smoove Posted March 20, 2016 Report Posted March 20, 2016 yeah i know they are junk i din't want anybody to suggest them. the only advantage i know of is there is more cone area a 15'' square has the same cone area as 17'' round. i was looking to hit some lows like the stuff from 15-40 hz and most of the power handling will not have to due with the coil but rather the mechanical suspention not that i want square just looking at options. 2 10's doing a hair trick getting low. Square subs not needed http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/202380-wanna-see-a-big-hairtrick-on-2-10s-no-problem/ 2 Team Fi 15's v1 2 DD M5's 970amps of Alt 6th order blowthroughThe truck Blowthrough build : http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/155555-smooves-1996-chevy-ext-cab-c1500-slow-build/The 350z build : http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/170694-smooves-2003-nissan-350z/ My FB page https://www.facebook.com/pages/Smooves-Car-Audio-and-performance/719746144805343 Team Fi Audio http://www.ficaraudio.com/
