Johndan0911
Hey i have another question, I have a 4 channel amp, what would happen if I hook up to the rear speakers and with the line output converter hook up to them.
ShadeTreeMechanic
If your headunit still has a problem then an amp will just make the problem louder. 91 C350 Centurion conversion ( Four Door One Ton Bronco) 250A Alternator (Second Alternator Coming Soon) G65 AGM Up Front / Two G31 AGM in Back Pioneer 80PRS CT Sounds AT125.2 / CT Sounds 6.5 Strato Pro component Front Stage CT Sounds AT125.2 / Lanzar Pro 8" coax w/compression horn tweeter Rear Fill FSD 5000D 1/2 ohm (SoundQubed 7k Coming Soon) Two HDS315 Four Qubes Each 34hz (Two HDC3.118 and New Box Coming Soon)
Johndan0911
Okay that what I figured, it's not the head unit, it's brand new. okay I just realized the other day, I had the audio control lc7i in here b4 this and it play fine just wasn't very loud, but they left the wires in the back of my head unit hook up and just clip the wires to it. Could that be it.
ShadeTreeMechanic
Ok let me see if i understand. Head unit is new. LOC was installed before but it wasnt loud. Instead of uninstalling it they just cut the wires. What was the question?Lets start at the begining.Does the new headunit play ok now without the LOC? Do you still have wires twisted and taped behind the head unit? 91 C350 Centurion conversion ( Four Door One Ton Bronco) 250A Alternator (Second Alternator Coming Soon) G65 AGM Up Front / Two G31 AGM in Back Pioneer 80PRS CT Sounds AT125.2 / CT Sounds 6.5 Strato Pro component Front Stage CT Sounds AT125.2 / Lanzar Pro 8" coax w/compression horn tweeter Rear Fill FSD 5000D 1/2 ohm (SoundQubed 7k Coming Soon) Two HDS315 Four Qubes Each 34hz (Two HDC3.118 and New Box Coming Soon)
Johndan0911
Yes it has an new headunit, never took the pac sni-35 off to see but yes new headunit still doing it. I had audio control lc7i hook up and didn't like it, so I switched to the pac sni-35, it didn't do what it does now with the audio control lc7i. But when they unhook the lc7i they just clip the wires to my trunk, the wires are still hook up to my headunit.
RooTxBeeR
Was it doing this skipping before the shop did work on the car? If yes, then make them figure out what is wrong, because it happened because of something they did. If not, keep asking questions and we will help you figure out the deal. reedal
Then disconnect them. Loose wiring connected to something with power traveling through it isn't safe or good in anyway. If you know it's there why didn't you disconnect it immediately? Johndan0911
Because I didn't have a wiring diagram for my car I know right off hand where everything goes. And I would let them figure it out but I don't won't them messing something up even worse so I going to take upon myself. Yes I know a loss but I don't need a even bigger loss. ShadeTreeMechanic
I would take out the LOC, remove the extra wiring and fix the wiring behind the head unit. This waw with just the factory stereo your problem will hopefully go away. Then once the headunit is verified to work properly, check back with us and we can help you add the new things. 91 C350 Centurion conversion ( Four Door One Ton Bronco) 250A Alternator (Second Alternator Coming Soon) G65 AGM Up Front / Two G31 AGM in Back Pioneer 80PRS CT Sounds AT125.2 / CT Sounds 6.5 Strato Pro component Front Stage CT Sounds AT125.2 / Lanzar Pro 8" coax w/compression horn tweeter Rear Fill FSD 5000D 1/2 ohm (SoundQubed 7k Coming Soon) Two HDS315 Four Qubes Each 34hz (Two HDC3.118 and New Box Coming Soon)
xpoppadaddyx
You can check out my video's on the '14 & '13 Altima if you need help removing parts. I used an Axxess for steering wheel controls and a Rockford RFHLC. I'd start from scratch and do it yourself. 2002 Chevy Trailblazer (Build) 2013 Nissan Altima (Build) Poppa's YouTube Channel Poppa's FB Page Poppa's Instagram
