LSN2meBoom916 Posted April 27, 2008 Report Share Posted April 27, 2008 ok so MORE bad news with this mother fucker!!!!!!! she is now immobilized and wont be moving for a while! seems my head gasket is blown.......oil in the coolant resovoir, and it wont hold any water. my neighbor is a mechanic for GM and is 100% sure thats what it is. so until i get $1600 for a new motor, she wont be moved or demoed and now i get to wait even longer to but my DC Level 5. OH WELL!!!!! THANKS ALOT KURT. Lesson learned Could have called this via the previous dee-dee-dee^^^ move. You broke it b4 I could even say "you're gonna break it". yea, no biggie, just another reason to buy some new stuff.and it tought me a little lesson about what to look for next time. but being as i have $4k left to pay on it and its fucked up, i dont know if i can trade the bitch in or not. thought about just getting an 09 Challenger AAAhhh to be 18yo again and "a financial whiz-kid" don't say anything about PA speakers on here...you will be flamed by guys like: tejcurrent, MegaloManiac, and wenn_du_weinst, and LSN2meBoom916just a FYI and me Now you know why you got a "steal" on it..................way to dump it quick Chevy.................. dwright27 Posted April 27, 2008 Author Report Share Posted April 27, 2008 so what did the mechanic say was wrong with it? i had no problems with it over heating. just put a little coolant in it once a month or so. ran good when i drove it up there. well, there is oil, all in the coolant resivoir, and the radiator runs water straight through it. ive filled it completely up with water, and 30 minutes later, it was running 240, and climbing, so i shut her down. this is going 80 MPH down the freeway in open traffic. he said at first, he thought it was the head gasket, and when i wwas gonna go to a show today, the motor lost all power, like the fuel filter was bad. but i changed that today. so i knew it wasnt that, so we was coming back down the road i live on and decided to top by his house. he got in, and said it was definately the head gasket, bythe TONS of steam coming out the tailpipe on an 85 degree or better day. not to mention the ammount of water coming out. 2006 F-150 4 DC XL M2 18's Walled Daily Driver XS Power 4 DC 3.5kw Team DC Team S.P.L.
