J_west07 Posted June 25, 2016 Report Posted June 25, 2016 I'm about to buy a crescendo bc5500 and a ascendant audio team series 18" I'm still on my stock alt. I've got 480ah would I be able to pay this very long or no? If not what would I need? Alt will be coming eventually, but they are 800 bucks for my car..... any thoughts?
Wasteland_Audio Posted June 25, 2016 Report Posted June 25, 2016 That amp would draw somewhere in the neighborhood of 500 amps at full tilt. You would need a lot bigger battery bank to keep it running for any amount of time. Without a bigger alt i think you will be very disappointed.
