meade916
also youve seen my "frame".......that gap is exactly 16" wide. Its not easy for me to even climb in there let alone mount subs and 64 screws (64 chances to put a bit thru the surround too ) Quote All SMD products + MORE available at my store here! https://wccaraudio.com/ Subscribe to My Youtube Channel! Nothing is easy and expecially the work you do. No matter what the Hoopty will be insane. Happy to see your new BTL's though. As long as you like it, sounds good, gets nice and loud thats all that counts
bkolfo4
I don't see how you sit in there with no hearing protection. I am doing 157.X at 35Hz, and my ears can't take it. My body barely does, but my ears don't. Man I know there are quite a few people reading this thread that just do not have any idea what it would be like to sit in your ride. . . My next project is going to have to be multiple alts under the hood. I know the single 250 amp is hurting my bass race score. Love the new BTL's, can't wait to see a set in person. Guest Nismofreak
actually, as in the video thats on my site, i did a 158.xx in a bassrace demo for 25 of 30 seconds, the last five seconds the song paused and it dropped to 156.xx. My windows were down it was a crowd demo. (a few people from here witnessed it too since the numbers are hard to read. The dot-matrix doesnt show on the camera. Ask Doug Stockton if you like) I have done 157.XX in USAC in the kick multiple times. with my OLD EQUIPMENT (on video as well) I have done 156.5 "legal" at the dash at a dbdrag 4 years ago with my OLD EQUIPMENT. i have done 158.xx here at the house with the mic on the dash and the windows down. I have done 158.xx in the kick with my termlab at USAC world finals in my pit I dont compete much anymore, but like i said before, my truck has NOT gotten quiter..... no need to run and hide meglo........Nismos question had an easy answer. o okay cool. that is crazy dam. I can't imagine a 158My buddies burb with 3 solo x 18 does a 154 at the mic and I thought that was crazy but I can't imagine your tahoe! Forevrbumpn
About 45 minutes ago, I decided to roll by Meade's house, since I was in the area, working at a customers house really close to him. Rolled by, no Meade, so Iam leaving, about 2 minutes away, Iam going over the local over pass, Iam in my work van, a 2004 Ford Sears van, windows rolled up, ac on full blast, radio on at a descent level, and at the top of the over pass, [[[bOM BOM BOM]]] Look in the opposing lane, and OFCOURSE its Meade, on his way back to his house, missed him by 2 minutes, but the thing is........ The HOE drowned out the sound of the AC/Radio, and made all my tools, and parts in the back of the van shake like I HAD subs in the van, but no, Meade was about 100 ft away, do his gansta lean, breakin in them new BTLs lol... much props Steve Quote I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me get through my day. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It sorta ruins the fantasy.
