zayres29 Posted August 18, 2016 Report Share Posted August 18, 2016 first day i bought the truck.. had a bad knock come to find out rod bearings were shot fortunately i knew this before buying the truck but i got a good deal i only payed 1200 for the truck and as of today i only have about 1600 in it to get it running i have been drinving it for 2 weeks now with no issues (knock on wood) diagnosing the issues we found that #1 and #2 rod bearings were completely gone if you look closely you can see the bearing coming out in between the rods here is how she sits now... finally got her running and home safe obviously were going right for audio upgrades started on the doors already idea for the door panels... single 10, 3 6.5s and a pair of tweets Btw that was the first person. I've been missing my old blowthrough setup I had in my old chevy so I have to build another... just bigger Btw that was the first person. Ever banned by me while dropping a deuce. Seems like 4 8" drivers would perform better for you if you plan to build like that. I've worked with those doors a time or two ...
