neuspeedescort
depending on use replace them every 12-18 months. i used my DD-1 and CC-1 about 2 dozen times in the last 18 months. i hadn't used them in about 4 months and both had low batteries when i tried using them this last weekend. so think of them as smoke detectors. i use duracell. audiofanaticz
or if you read the manual that came with the dd-1 (or view the pdf file if you bought it used) it says get a name brand battery.Duracell, Energizer, Everready etc will be fine.I replace my batteries in my DD-1, DD-1+, IM-SG, and CC-1 twice a year when I change my smoke alarm batteries (regardless of usage). ShadeTreeMechanic
I keep mine in the original cardboard box. I am going to write on it the date of last battery change so I will know at a glance how old it is. The only thing worse than a dead battery is a battery that leaks. 91 C350 Centurion conversion ( Four Door One Ton Bronco) 250A Alternator (Second Alternator Coming Soon) G65 AGM Up Front / Two G31 AGM in Back Pioneer 80PRS CT Sounds AT125.2 / CT Sounds 6.5 Strato Pro component Front Stage CT Sounds AT125.2 / Lanzar Pro 8" coax w/compression horn tweeter Rear Fill FSD 5000D 1/2 ohm (SoundQubed 7k Coming Soon) Two HDS315 Four Qubes Each 34hz (Two HDC3.118 and New Box Coming Soon)
