I'm only 16 but my career is to open up a shop that sells, repairs, and installs car, boat, and home audio equipment.

I'm going to study marketing in college and I know I'll need a business license, but what are some general steps I need to take additionally to fulfill my dream career? I have lots of experience so far in installing speakers, radios, and subwoofers into boats and cars, and will continue to learn a lot more throughout my teenage years.

I have lots of experience , but know where near enough for a shop. How much experience do you have? Unless you can show me more knowledge and better installs than audiofanatic or kingsuv on here you are not ready..there is alot of people who can install stuff just sayn.easy to twist wires and go.

You'll need lots of audio schooling to learn techniques of custom installs.

U better know a ton about electrical , The shop by me has 1 box builder, 1 salesmen and 1 wiring guy hard to find time to do it all and still have a life
