oldsoundguy
So I have a Rockford fosgate P1000x5 amp and I was thinking of running an extra battery back in the underseat well in the back of my Toyota to power the amp. Is it possible to run a lithium ion batter from a motorcycle?? https://www.batterystuff.com/batteries/ss51913.html or maybe this one is better https://www.batterystuff.com/batteries/lithium-iron-batteries/sstx30q-fp.html I found this one for a decent price but didn't know if it would work for this application. I have an AGM under hood, DC 180 amp alt but still get a bit of dimming full volume little 8 inch DC sub slamming. Could this be added to my system and help? So could I run 1/0 power and ground from my battery under hood to this battery back by the amp then run power from that to my amp? That's why I think It might be a stupid question so Flame away if needed. lol 80prs Arc Audio Xdi 1200.6 (using active crossovers) Freaking awesome amplifier Incriminator IA 10.1 Focal PS 130v 5.25 (doors) 4" Faital pro Neo (kick panels) 3" Faital pro Neo and focal tweets( dash) DC Audio level 3 12" custom box designed by joex built by me AGM front, XS 750SE batteries rear DC 180 alt 99 Toyota Tacoma extra cab http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/179476-my-small-build-turned-into-the-ongoing-build/

oldsoundguy
The big 3 has been done already well Big 4 in my case. Did it a couple years ago. I don't have room in the back for another large battery and no room under the hood. Just trying to find another option and thought this might work. 80prs Arc Audio Xdi 1200.6 (using active crossovers) Freaking awesome amplifier Incriminator IA 10.1 Focal PS 130v 5.25 (doors) 4" Faital pro Neo (kick panels) 3" Faital pro Neo and focal tweets( dash) DC Audio level 3 12" custom box designed by joex built by me AGM front, XS 750SE batteries rear DC 180 alt 99 Toyota Tacoma extra cab http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/179476-my-small-build-turned-into-the-ongoing-build/
bsneon98
super caps? Unless your after a bigger reserve, but since you are chasing dimming lights caps may be better in your situation. I have no experience personally but a ton others on here do. I know they have had good results Build Log: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/152954-1998-plymouth-neon-updates/
oldsoundguy
I think I will go with this battery. Its small and will fit in the under seat storage well and the price is right. http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_100071_XS-Power-XP750-Special-Edition-600W-Battery.html 80prs Arc Audio Xdi 1200.6 (using active crossovers) Freaking awesome amplifier Incriminator IA 10.1 Focal PS 130v 5.25 (doors) 4" Faital pro Neo (kick panels) 3" Faital pro Neo and focal tweets( dash) DC Audio level 3 12" custom box designed by joex built by me AGM front, XS 750SE batteries rear DC 180 alt 99 Toyota Tacoma extra cab http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/179476-my-small-build-turned-into-the-ongoing-build/
bcbrassard
Thats a good choice IMO and should help. Seems odd though you 2 amps running before with more wattage and less issues. But beefing up electrical and adding a battery is not a bad thing besides the price tag.
