Wannabe
Or if I got a pair of tweeters could I run them off my 4 channel the way it is with the 4 speakers I already have going? this is my first build, i have been waiting 4-5 years to have this done 95 chevy 2 door tahoe 5.7 Xs power d3400 Singer 275amp alternator Big 3 - all Knukonceptz Kolossus Fleks 0ga/ knu Fuses an holders Sundown SAE-1500d Mbquart onyx OA800.4 Stinger 4400 series RCAs and stinger volt meter Fi Q NEO 18, 7.5 cubes tuned 32hz Pioneer MVH-X690BS H/U Kicker CSS 6.5 comp sets in front doors Kicker KSC 4x10 coaxials in rear GTMAT and FAT MAT deadner Xenon 10k Blue HIDs
06RTCharger
Could? Ya. Should? No lol. Thatd be pretty ghetto. To do that you would have channel 1 on one comp-set, chan2 on the other comp-set, chan3 both tweets wired in series for an 8ohm load(assuming theyre 4ohm tweets), then chan4 both rear coaxials wired in parallel for 2ohm load (assuming theyre 4ohm) or even go series for 8ohm rears. But that would give up A LOT of tuning. I dont recommend that at all, i recommend one channel per speaker most times except when it comes to subs. also i dont think just adding a pair of tweets will give u "loud", just slightly more tweet highs. You'd be better off just saving for upgrades. But for now just tweek around with ur system u have now.
notorious97200
Your setup should be loud enough. Maybe you have to play more with your settings. How did you install those speakers ? Try to listen without the rears, the sound can be cleaner like that. black BMW X1 2.0 l 192 hp OEM head unit, Amplifiers : Audison AP 8.9 amp with integrated DSP and Ampere Audio 1200. Focal ES 100 K in front doors, and Dayton RS 180 for midbass under the front seats. 2 SSA DEMONS 10" subs, in a 2.6 ft3 ported box. MrSkippyJ
I think you are creating a problem where you won't have one. That should be more than enough to keep up with your substage. White Lightning
A 95 Tahoe ... Does this vehicle have the factory 6.5 & tweet location in the doors ??? @Charger ... Active is not the end-all be-all to car audio. Please stop suggesting this to every op you see on the net. Passive works great in this vehicle when set up correctly. Ask me how I know ... Its a suggestion to try something that might get him "louder" than what hes currently at with his current equipment, "might". Wouldnt hurt to see how it sounded active, if its shit then go back to passive. Nothing i say is an end all type of thing, i always let people know its just my thoughts on it and that im also very new to car audio. Its a "suggestion" man. I know youve told me u build SQ systems and use passive setups in them. We been over that.
moh.vze.com
For new people just coming into car audio I suggest just staying with Passive setup to keep everything simple.
