I havent done any small-size wiring like youre about to do, so I've never needed wire with such a high conductivity. Neat stuff man. I went with the silver wire because I was told it will have a better sound to it. I think I may double up the wire but it may not be necessary. I will have enough that I could probably make a ton of these but I wanted solid wire not stranded. Someone actually found this link for me but this is what I bought (realistically the most expensive part of the project). If you'd like the links for the RCA's and stuff I can supply them as well. http://www.ebay.com/itm/172552666168 Current Build: 02 Jeep Grand Cherokee Build (AKA Project Silent Night) Mechman, Neo Slow

Yes I certainly will the wire arrived today so as soon as I can get some paint on the box I will get to soldering. Here is a picture that someone shared with me on Facebook that had made their own. nkrell11
Well I went to home depot today and got railed on sheets of Birch it was $50 a sheet and that's not even for baltic birch which they didn't have anyways. The only upside is the wood has some nice grain to it. I picked up 4 of the 5 sheets that they had and I know I'll need a couple more. I also bought 6 tubes of PL 8X, another can or plasti dip for the windows and a 4 foot straight edge. Got home and made a couple cuts for the side pieces and mapped out some more cuts but it's 20 degrees out and I'm not freezing when it's going to be pretty nice on Thursday. The wire for the RCA box came today as well. More updates soon...maybe. Mapping some cuts: 4 sheets should get me most of the way. I don't know if I'd go with epic but thank you I guess that means I'm doing something right. Well photobucket is being dumb and worthless so I'm trying flickr if this doesn't work I'll have to wait for photobucket to get fixed. I made some progress today but it's a slow go. The sides were a pain to get to fit right due to the angles, etc. Once I got them in I traced all the squares then removed them and drew the lines so I had a grid on the back side. Afterwards I drew all the places for the self tappers, I bought 400 1 3/4 for the sides so theres a ton of holes. Luckily I had my girlfriend drilled the holes, I think it's about 150 holes per side. The holes still need to be drilled through the steel, so tomorrow I'm hoping to do that and get them adhered to the cage with the PL 8x. I also cut one of the pieces for the back the cage is a little out of square so I will have to sand one side a little to get it to fit a little better. Overall it's just tedious but progress is progress. The edges I also used a round over on so the welds wouldn't get in the way that are in the corners. nkrell11
Well photobucket is back up so that's good news. Slow go today had to pre drill all the holes for the self tappers. Each side used 130 screws and the back panel used 76 so that's 336 holes that I had to drill. I was using some low quality drill bits and it was frustrating because I was snapping them pretty frequently and it took a while to drill the holes. I plan to order some better ones to finish up the rest. Things do seem solid though, tomorrow I'm hoping to cut the remaining pieces for the roof floor etc, the angled ones will be the hardest. Going to have to cut an angle over 45 degrees on the table saw so that will be interesting. I bought 4 McLaren MLT-4B tweets (two per door) from a guy on Facebook so that will be something to come home to. Now I just need to decide on mids.
