My Iowa Summer Daily a 2007 Chevy Cobalt SS.

Time to start a new system for a new ride

kKIzoBwqsJMJWfNJM5xf3hkJJIxWftX3gNXsCtQi

Decided not to good big for this car, just a simple upgrade.

1x Pioneer AVH-4200NEX

1x Rockford Fosgate PBR300X4

1x Rockford Fosgate PBR500X1

2x Rockford Fosgate P165-SE (Having to go a different route on the back. I was originally going to use 6x9 adapters, but decided against it when I found out that there wasn't going to be enough room for the mid and tweet.)

1x New Rockford Fosgate R2 10-Inch Sub

1x  XS Power D4700

2x Noico Black 80 Mil Sound Deadening (not Damplifier Pro, but not bad for the Price)

And now the Fun Begins. I figured I would start with swapping battery and go from there.

_RcjiitvepaaLJSbToZAy-ywBIVMj8zyj00uCew0

Look it still has the stock battery from 2007 in it, and also found out that there is hardly no sound deadener in this car

ln9n5ncgIf81SfMzslcndApA2pjWc_abhUxHe_uZ

Here they are side by side. Got the battery swapped, easiest part of the install.

Will, why I was there, I gutted the trunk.

dTQZAMH6RHNiJtNxEc8ecfdPFy-aN7CSLgz665L6

I swapped the sub out for the Rockford real fast.

Maybe someday I will sand off the Pioneer, but for now it will be staying. After working all day and working on this I decided to call it a night after I put down a bit of sound deadener.yjZgSp3d4CPIt1Ir5oKS0hwfK4bb6a1S0HA5ASEi

I got some work done today and found out that I got a Huge Leak in the car.

I started the by swapping out the front door speaker, but soon got side tracked be removing the factory amp.

The Rockford Fosgate Punch P165-SE fit perfect in the Metra 82-3006 Adapter.

The factory amp is PITA to get out. I ended up braking the clips that hold it on.

Also got the Tweeter and Crossover mounted to.

I Started to gut the interior and thats when I realized that the floor was wet.

Then I started to Run my Stinger 9 Wire for my 4 channel amp.

Then I got the rear view camera mounted and wires ran then I finished running the 9 wire out to the factory speaker harness. I also found a place to hide my bass knob.

It's done for awhile now, so I can plan my next few mods I want to do to it, but I love how it turned and looks mostly factory. Oh, heres all the stock crap I pulled out.

Damn, awesome build! I like how you utilized the factory wiring and just spliced the factory harness to the aftermarket amp.  Where did you get the wiring diagram up to the actual factory amp?

Thats cool. Im way too old to be upset by shit like that. Your name is winston. Your own parents hated you even before you were born.

My penis is bigger than your penis

I'm far from loud and my roof/headliner flaps around like Adam's ass on a windy day. I think it depends more on the structure of the vehicle.
