Need some help, Picking a 10'' box

i have a 10" sq HDS3, and not sure what box would be better for my sub, can you guys help me, and yes i will be having a sweet system put in.

here are the 2 boxes i am looking at on ebay, please help

The first one is specless other than internal volume, the second one is tuned too high and the port area and area ratio look bad and net volume will be pretty low for that sub once it's in, I wouldn't recommend either but the second one seems worse.

If you're willing to build your own with a good design, there's a few members on here that's will offer you a good design for nothing at all. Just post up your maximum dimensions to fit the enclosure in, what amp will you be using, what car it is, and what type of music you listen to.

don't know how to build. can you guys help? links, recommended sub box something? these forums are for help. and to learn that's why i'm here. so i need a box for my sub..

help would be much nice, can you guys post some links?

Post ur dimensions of the available space. Take a measuring tape and measure the space you can use in your trunk. The height, width (left to right), and depth(front to back).

So here is a suggestion, sub /port firing back, you will need to verify the provided dimensions will work with your vehicle, power: to sub rated, amp subsonic filter to 28Hz, minimum port clearance 2", figure is just an assembly guide:

NOTE: If building outside you need to build a cardboard dummy box to test fit in it's way inside.

 

 

 

Suggested materials to build the above:

1) 3/4" MDF wood.

2) Titebond II wood glue.

3) MDF/Drywall screws.
