SPL.Pantie.Soak
I have a Skar LP 1000.1D, I have used three different headunits on the amplifier and regardess of what try the amplifier is putting out around 65% of what it is capable of. The gain is all the way up and still sounds clean, it seems as if I need to be able to turn the gain even higher to have it where I need it. I opened the amp today to ensure nothing seemed burnt and everything looks alright. I messed with all other settings to no avail. I am completely stumped- A reply would be much appreciated. Checked fuses and grounds as well. SPL.Pantie.Soak
Both RCAs have solid connections, the headunit is rated @ 2 volts. I wired my AQ 3500.1 to 4 ohms with decent results but still having the same issue (gain is maxed). I will wire up my line output converter and attempt to strengthen the signal from the HU. I will report back with results tomorrow. At 4ohm ur amp is rated to put out 1400w, is 1400w enough for ur subs? also im assuming the amps 1400 rating is based on 14.4volts, so does ur electrical have the ability to supply that amp with 14 volts? If ur voltage is dropping low from the amp then its output will deminish. That amp needs a 400amp fuse, thats some pretty big draw.
