Hey my 2700d I noticed while checking my fuel pressure today it was hissing and I noticed the side bulging out. Please tell me that's normal lol

I'd get that thing out of the car asap.

My guess is that it's being overcharged. Could of had your regulator fail.

Can you take a picture of the batt?

A little bulge on these is fine since I have had 20 different XS power batts in the past 2+ years and they have a *tiny* bulge to them it seems.  I have even heard some hissing before (not very loud at all)  i guess not really hissing as much as gurgling...I forget what Snowdrifter told me though, maybe ask him?

Oh, and yea, generally not normal.  Hook a DMM up to it and watch it like a hawk!

Definitely check your charging voltage to make sure your alternator didn't run away on the output.

Gurgling and hissing fires are fun can't wait to see how this turns out.

Everything is OK as far as charging goes my truck charges mid 14s consistently.

I will keep an eye on it. Today it wasn't hissing but the bulging is there
