Passive Radiators or External Ports?

Don't have the room, if you look at the image in the OP you'll see what i mean.

Not interested in cutting into the c pillar interior panels for the width i'd need let alone the depth issue i would have.

Guess I dont understand the drawing. the external ports run in front of the enclosure as drawn. they are 4" in diameter, so in theory that space can be added to the box, now maybe thats not enough but considering it owould add more volume than what the 4 external ports adds it should be.

Where did i state they were 4" in diameter? 4 external port's? now i'm getting confused

If you look at the photo not my incredible ms paint artwork ? you'll see if i went with a slot port facing forward id have to add a minimum of 4-5 inches of depth to the box. If i went with a port up design that would take the height up to the the window line pretty much and in that would also increase the depth to comply with the outside diameter of the sub which with the current box is pretty much maxed out as it is.

No worries, i made the ms paint joke to lighten the tone of my reply

Yup the more i look at it the PR way looks better and better.

Now the question is, to regular or inverted mount them if i go ahead with this idea?

Bottom mount will look nice and clean but inverted would make it look much more technical plus it would make tuning adjustable on the fly.

Just because i could i was looking at the parts express passive radiators page and i thought to myself

"would i have room between the sides and front to fit 32 - 6.5" Dayton PR'S?"

That's with my assumption that you double the number of PR's for every decrease in size.

Man . . . . I gotta step away from this idea away for awhile, LOL!
