WalledSonic
post a pic please. Usually just pop a hole and fish the wire thru. I took my doors off and drilled new holes since the new style Molex connectors dont have room to run wire. Masterbasser
I guess the proper term for the rubber thing is body to door wiring loom Kenwood excelon ddx795 3 370 amp CES alternators (audio side only) McLaren dome tweeters Crescendo 6.5 ultra neos NVX JAD800.4 4 PA x4 SPL 18's 4 Digital Designs m5's at .7 ohms each 2 K2 80 ah lithiums 3 group 31 agms Ledglow million color (12 piece) 2007 Yukon xl
Joshdashef
I've seen people tape together the + / -'s together then fish it through with some of this Metal Fisher or you could just use some thick wire you have laying around (or a coat hanger) and tape the wires to that. However if like WalledSonic said, you have one of those Molex connectors you may have to drill a hole and grommet it yourself. Karkov
I don't think he means the molex connectors. Basically I have the same vehicle thus the same rubber things you are talking about OP so what i did was unattach the rubber from each end, pull/push wire you want to run through metal hole, fish through rubber thing, then through other metal hole, then reattach rubber sleeve hose type connector grommet on each end again. OORRR use the Metal fisher that the guy posted above which works great if it's smaller wire. I have used that too, just attach it really well when pulling the wire through. If I'm thinking of something else please post a pic. Have to have door panel off to do this IMO. the rubber thing is black and ribbed correct? 2007 Chevy Tahoe (SOLD) 12 ~ FI Audio X series 10" w/BP option 2 ~ DC Audio 5.0K @0.67 3 ~ DC Audio 5.0K @1.0 2 ~ PPI 3 way sets (not installed yet) 1 ~ RF T400-4, 1 ~ RF T600-2, 1 ~ RF T600-4 4 ~ CT Sounds 5.25" Strato comps (rear fill only) 1 ~ XS Power D4800 1 ~ XS Power D3400 8 ~ XS Power XP3000 160 stock alt, Mechman 370 Elite, 185 DC Power 320+ Sq. Masterbasser
yea I understand about the door panel. I'm having trouble getting the side panel off between front and rear door (inside the truck) thanks for the help. I see the rubber thing does have up written on it I'm guessing that means pull up. ill try unattaching both sides and fish it thru, the wire is 14 awg hopefully I can get it thru with some soap on it or something. kinda got whole interior torn up Kenwood excelon ddx795 3 370 amp CES alternators (audio side only) McLaren dome tweeters Crescendo 6.5 ultra neos NVX JAD800.4 4 PA x4 SPL 18's 4 Digital Designs m5's at .7 ohms each 2 K2 80 ah lithiums 3 group 31 agms Ledglow million color (12 piece) 2007 Yukon xl
Karkov
B pillar thingy? Do you have to take seat back off? bottom isnt held on my much. I cant really remember but I know I had mine off, but at the time i had stripped all interior so it might have been easier once everything was removed. Masterbasser
yea I hit a rut this morning on the rear door speaker install, front doors are done. I ran into the wire loom (rubber thing) 1 end has a molex style connection the other is just a rubber ring. unsure how I can run my own wires thru that molex connector, was thinking of maybe tapping into stock wiring under low center trim panel Kenwood excelon ddx795 3 370 amp CES alternators (audio side only) McLaren dome tweeters Crescendo 6.5 ultra neos NVX JAD800.4 4 PA x4 SPL 18's 4 Digital Designs m5's at .7 ohms each 2 K2 80 ah lithiums 3 group 31 agms Ledglow million color (12 piece) 2007 Yukon xl
