Haha... 270 amp alt, dual 1/0 ofc everywhere, 300 ah of quality AGM... The usual stout electrical for running 5-6k RMS. Already have subs too. Cleaned up yesterday on an enclosure and install. Yeah I've already ran the 5k @.5. 2 group 31 in the trunk and one group 24 AGM under the hood. Cars getting a wall. Trying to decide between 3 or 4-15's or 4 to 6-12's. WalledSonic
(3) at 0.67... more cone area and wired lower? Thats a no brainer assuming you have the volume for it. Joe X
The following shows the cone area advantage, 3 over 2 2.5 net per driver, power is the same 5000W to either option: So 2dB or so, now you need to factor in the increase in power due to wiring lower, maybe 1-2 dB more. Some extra infos on the amp power delivery against load impedance would be useful. Looks like a moderate improvement in any case.

Joe X
Yes, it would help to know how much the amp delivers at 1 ohm and 0.67 ohm at a specified input voltage, likely it's not going to make a big difference. just looking to better answer the question-
