Anyone here tried these morel 2.5” mids?

[Bret]

Looking to buy some mids for a 3-way setup. I have 8” midbass Drivers already. These morels aren’t too expensive just no reviews online so I’m not sure about them. Probably nobody wants itty bitty speakers.

if youre using 8s for midbass, why not use a 4" for full range?  consider too, the ohm loads of each speaker and how they will get wired in to make sure youre not overpowering them and that they're compatible.

Bmwking, im Using some 50w per channel amps and wiring them to 4 ohms so I’m not worried about overpowering them. The thing is after fitting 2 8’s in each door there isn’t much room left for 4” mids but maybe I can make some fit.

Im also looking for 2.5" full range. 3" max

i found some PRV 4" mids that might fit the bill for you.  but as far as a 2.5" full range, everything's coming up milhouse and i think you may have the best option.

as far as 3" 4 ohm drivers, here's what's at Partsexpress:

you can search the 2.5" stuff too but yeah...

Check out the audible physics full range drivers.

Very impressive for their size.  A lil pricey though
