CodyDaGoat
Just finishing up my first “high wattage” build. Ive got 3 D3100s sitting on around 5k rms watts. Plan on bumping anywhere from 10-30 minutes per day. How often should the batteries be charged? And what are some good recommended chargers for these
Dragonsyph
I have been using a Noco g3500 for my d3100 bats, seems to work pretty good. Joshdashef
Some people charge weekly, some biweekly, some everyday. Does your voltage dip really low? If not weekly or biweekly should be fine. If you dip below 13.6 I’d charge it as soon as you can 1 Quote SMD Tool Map (2022): https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/220267-smd-tool-map-2022/ My Port Size Calculator (in progress): https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/217087-port-size-calculator-in-progress/ Common Port Walls for a Slot Port: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/217076-common-port-walls-why-it-matters-to-your-box/?tab=comments#comment-3240313

k58.cross
Uhhh 13.6? That's like fully charged float voltage isn't it?? You wanna charge after you've used a good chunk of the reserve, I'd say when you're seeing low 12's.
Wishuponasub
I think I've charged mine like 3 Times in 3 years just to do it. They test in the high 12s and never need a charge so I don't charge them.
