Ron36 Posted December 24, 2019 Report Share Posted December 24, 2019 Currently I’m running 2 Sundown SD-3 10’s in a sealed box behind rear seats in my truck, sounds pretty good but they are shallow mount subs. I measured yesterday and can squeeze 3 Sundown E8v5’s sealed under the rear seats . Will I notice any difference. Current amp is a Skar rp1200.1 . If I go with the 3-8’s I do have a American Bass VFL 120 laying around and at 1.3 ohms would probably put out 1500watts. So very similar power. Skar puts out about 1500.
